Mar52 – Is it the elbow-to-earhole crowd of youthful patrons that turned you off?
The website appears to be pitching the atmosphere as much as the food. I may have reached the full geezer stage in my life, but I now avoid crowds whenever possible.
Is the desire to be packed into crowded areas a millenial thing? I await wj’s expert commentary.
YES!!! Their website gave me the impression that they don’t want me there. Those are all beer toting, beautiful kids. Looks like they want a “Look” and I don’t have it.
It’s only 2 miles from me so I’ll try it on an off hour because I’m still interested and a good burger would be wonderful. Burger Lounge opened a mile from me and the place left me as too contrived and cold.
Bring back my Charbroiled Woody’s Smorgasburgers! Well bring back charbroiled! What a difference that the kids now have never tasted.
Back to the topic… there should have been a few older people mixed in to broaden the scope!
I guess they forgot to call wanderingjew. [}:)]
