I thought those were quite pleasant, and nothing at all like the loud, drunken brawls with horribly-dressed people and God only knows what being "cooked" over coals revels that are called tailgate parties today. They are called buffalo wings, but it’s not really buffallo. That’s the first time I ever heard of Buffalo Wings being cooked over coals. I’ve had them baked, slow cooked in the sauce, and the Anchor Bar way: fried as much as the consumer, then dipped in the sauce. They’re called Buffalo Wings because the Anchor Bar, which I believe made the first batch, is in Snowtown USA, formerly referred to as Buffalo, New York, where O.J. played football, on the team that since played in FOUR championship games in a row. Even though they lost all four, that’s a pretty impressive feat. http://homecooking.about.com/od/foodhistory/a/buffwinghistory.htm
