Horses and Human athletes who preform at superior levels are all subject to injury as a result of their skill AND will. They exceed the ability of the body to keep up with the power of the mind. Horses legs are not designed to withstand the weight of a highly trained horse and the knees and back of a 300 pound + football player are not designed to withstand the stress of playing football.
