Not to get too personal, but where did a Horan from metro Boston pick up this sausage gravy kick? And what’s your version? (and have you tried making it with bangers or linguica?)

I heard of sausage gravy as a kid only because my step-grandfather was from North Carolina. But by the time I came along a series of coronaries had put his sausage gravy days well behind him. Always been on the list of forbidden foods for me, but sometimes I live on the wild side. [}:)]
