There’s a particularly vile brand of violet gum; it tastes like an old lady’s purse smells.

I’m quite fond of tamarind – *anything* I can find that is tamarind-flavored instantly leaps into my grocery cart. On the other hand, I cannot for the life of me understand why anyone would eat the sour candies made with excessive amounts of crystalline phosphoric or citric acids. *blechho*
