The Italian deli/restaurant I’ve been to several times there (Viviano’s) makes a very good, Provel-free pizza with a mix of mozzarella and provolone. In fact, that’s where I picked up the magazine.

We visited their location in Fenton- only a couple of miles from our hotel in Kirkwood- Incidentally in my nearly 30 years of visiting St Louis this was the first time I stayed in the burbs-
This was a cool place- we went there on a Saturday night after our..ok actually my Snoots snack at Smoki O’s (they ran out of pork steak)
Sandra enjoyed checking out the market and we chatted with the owner… cool guy…
My primary reason to visit Viviano’s.. was to check out the “Mangia Bene” their version of the St Louis Gerber Sandwich which of course was topped with ….you guessed it… provel cheese!
