Depending how the weather goes this month, you might want to stop coming or going at Funks Grove, IL, (I 55 between Exits 145 and 154) for some freshly tapped, freshly made maple sirup (their spelling). They are on Route 66 which parallels I 55 just to the west of the Interstate. Call them first to see if they have begun tapping the trees yet. See their website at http://www.funksmaplesirup.com/
