When I looked on the net, they looked like quail to me. They are a very enjoyable part of my life. They are just so cute, and they hide in the undergrowth chittering away, but when I get close, they are quiet. But I see them running around and hear them rustling in the trees. I didnt have them in Florida, just the usual birds. Mockingbirds, blue jays, cardinals, crows….
This is a real pleasure.
I also noticed one other spring time treat.
Caterpillars!
I dont know what they are going to be, but there are tons of them.
I also saw one that looked like a tree branch, I thought it was and got closer and it was a caterpillar..
Curious to see what that will be also..
