The good folks at Jelly Belly have done more with the common jelly bean than anyone thought possible, but they have stretched themselves too thin. I saw an advertisement for sport beans. That’s right jelly beans full of carbs and electrolytes to keep your body fueled during excersize and whatnot. Sportbeans are essentially the sports drink without the drink. They even reccomend drinking water with the beans. So what’s the point (outside of novelty) of sport beans plus water, when you can just as easily cram everything in a bottle of Gatorade.

Exactly for those instance when your running a 5k or higher race and you can’t carry a bottle of Gatorade with you, but you can pack a package or two of the Sports Beans and wash them down with water at the water stations. I’ve had them and they aren’t bad.
