You know–i am always hearing how wonderfull clementines are–and i agree they are good–but -for 17 yrs i lived in Chico Ca–90 miles north of Sacramento–and the manderins that were available off the back of hundreds of pickup trucks during the holiday season,were the BEST citrus i ever tasted–hands down—and cheap–like $3 for 5 lbs or $5 for ten!–easy to peel–delightfully sweet–they were the favorite snack of all my friends –till they dissapeared for the season that is–a group of us would gather once a week for poker or board games and there were often 5 or 6 10 lb bags that would dissapear in a hurry![:p]
