I live in a house built in 1784 and kitchen cabinets were virturly non existant. I use a 3 door oak ice box, a hoosier cabinet and an old pie safe for my immediate kitchen staples.
Other items are kept in the root cellar/pantry. Even living by myself I have a tendancy to be overcome with the lack of storage space. Chow Jim
