From a friend who lives in Naples:
"The best place for take out ribs is Brown Bag in Golden Gate on Golden Gate Parkway, Order the 2 person dinner and it costs less, skip the chicken.
Mel’s Diner for the 7 way chili and mile hi pies, retro 50’s decor, and the seafood isn’t bad, of all the places to go, this is just a diner, but the prices are pretty good
On the East Trail is a little DIVE called Giuseppe’s, the service at times is sketchy, but the FraDiavolo sauce is to die for. Try it as a dip for the fried calamari and you’ll want it on everything. Also, they have this veal dish (who’s name escapes me) it has spinach, a cream sauce with mushrooms and you need to tell them to put your side of pasta beneath it. (trade secret)
Tony’s off Third on Thirteenth Avenue South for Pastries and sitting out side and drinking coffee. They had a world class collection of wine for sale too"
