Just wanted to say thanks for all the recommendations…lots of good options listed here and we considered many of them. We ended up here
http://www.naplesnews.com/places/taqueria_san_julian/ after deciding we wanted Mexican and were on a tight budget.

I HIGHLY recommend this place – no frills but the food is fresh and well-prepared. And, at a $1.50/taco ($2.50 for a small but mouthwatering quesadilla) both my wife and i ate here for about $13 (and that includes a beer for me and a Jarrito for her). We were tempted to try the flan ($2!!) but decided to save it for next time.

Thanks again for the recs- we are here several times a year so I’m sure they’ll come in handy
