Delaware has a statewide ban on smoking in public places and while I understand the meddling with rights issue, I really couldn’t be happier. Restaurants and bars whined to no end about loss of business and frankly it just didn’t turn out that way. Everyone feared patrons would drive, literally, a few miles to one of three other states to smoke and it didn’t materialize. My lungs are not subjected to smoke and my clothes don’t smell like an ashtray.
