2 16 oz cans of chick peas (garbonzo beans) rinsed and drained.
9 cloves of garlic or 4 tsp (heaping) minced
2 tsp salt
2 tsp black pepper
3 Tbsp tahini (sesame paste)
1 Tbsp olive oil
2/3 cup of ReaLemon lemon juice
The tahini I buy at Publix is settled out and requires stirring. Take a tip from me, use a screw driver and allow some time.
Toss everything in the food processor and let it rip. We like it smooth.
