Last night, I cooked pork chops and kraut. After I cooked my chops, I drained the pan of excess oil, then added my drained kraut and browned it a few minutes in the meat drippings and also any leftover meat scraps, etc.
It is really good this way. I had this along with macaroni and cheese.
