I like my cottage cheese with crisp bread as well, accompanied by sweet or hot pepper relish. I think they go very well together.
And the sauerkraut, cooked with country style pork ribs )or some other bone-in pork cut), accompanied by a little cut-up apple, brown sugar and caraway seeds, until the pork falls off the bone. Serve with mashed potatoes. M-M-M-M. Great crock-pot recipe. Guess I’ll have to have some…it’s been a long time.
