By banning beer with Santa Claus on the label, the state of Connecticut, like many other political entities, is just taking the easy way out. There would be no problem there if the state just vigorously prosecuted any adult who sold beer to a minor or bought it for a minor. (I am not a beer lover, but I just feel banning in this case is ridiculous.)
By the way, mr chips, I think the equivalent of selling candy cigarettes in this case, would be selling root beer in cans and bottles, which many places do.
