We usually shop at Costco on Saturdays. It’s not the best day of the week but this is when they have the “Seafood Show” on. They set up a special booth with shrimp, scallops, King crab legs, fresh mussels, fresh clams and it’s usually one of those items that we’re looking to buy. But the aisles are not really crowded and we get through the check-out in no time. Maybe it’s because this Costco is located not far from a Giant Eagle Market District, Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s and a lot more specialty stores. Most of my friends here do not shop at Costco. In Anchorage EVERYBODY shopped there!!! In SoCal too.

Seriously..Weekends are a shopping no-no for us old curmudgeons!. And if I see the old folks home bus parked at the market, I’ll check and see if they are loading or unloading “folk” before venturing inside. Give me a Tues/Weds/Thurs early-ish AM for my soiree’s
