I avoid shopping anywhere on weekends unless it’s after 9pm at night. Or on Sunday mornings before church gets out.

My biggest pet peeve is when people feel the need to stop dead in their tracks right in the doorway as soon as they enter the store, completely oblivious to the fact there is a stream of people behind them trying to get into the store also.

That scenario happens ALL THE TIME, EVERY DAY!  On a recent Tuesday afternoon I was walking out of Kroger when a women pushing a cart out saw her friend pushing a cart in.  Hugs and kisses all around and blocking everybody.  I loudly said, “EXCUSE ME!!”  They moved.

What I really like is when the cashier can’t find the price of something unusual in the produce dept. that you have……..like Belgian endive or escarole and they ask you if you know the price!  Heck, you could say anything!! That never happens at Costco……..only at the grocery store…….they’re too smart for that at Costco.
