Ya, them nose hairs falling into the food are becoming a real problem lately.. But 5, 10 or 15 years ago it wasn’t a problem.
But seriously, I hear ya on the gloves. I can see if your doing prep and cooking it might be wise to wear them (multitasking) to prevent cross contamination… But when your just cooking? I’m not sure on that one… I’ve never had to wear gloves.. Actually about the only place I seen them worn are at chain fast food outlets where you can see the cooks in action (Taco Hell, Arbys, LongJohns, KFC).. But even wearinig gloves wont prevent cross contamination now that I think about it.. Chicken guts then putting lettuce on a burger.. Bare hands or gloved ands wont help out eitherway.. Best rule is to keep your hands washed frequently! I’m pretty sure the germs arent picky if they stick to plastic or flesh..
