We buy a precooked, hot chicken too. A local store sells it for less than they sell the same chickens uncooked. The only problem is that they often sell out. Another store says it WILL be in stock between 4 and 6 or it is free, but they charge almost twice as much. When we have time, though, and the people to eat it, nothing, IMO beats a Purdue Oven Stuffer Roaster. I would prefer to say that the local free range product is better, but IMO it is not. (unlike the eggs from the free range birds that I do like better)
