He was in a couple of memorable “The Twilight Zone” episodes as well.  I don’t know if it’s available online but he’s excellent in “In Praise of Pip”.
 
I never really got into “The Odd Couple” but “Quincy M.E.” was one of my favorites.  For awhile I even thought that forensic medicine might be my calling, but then I learned a little more about it…
