Russells BBQ on Thatcher & North in Melrose Park, IL has a great BBQ beef sandwich. The best baby backers were at the Cork Restaurant in Skokie, which closed years ago. The Cork still bottles and sells their fantastic creamy garlic salad dressing called Corkquette in some of the Chicago specialty food stores. Look for it in the refrigerated section. It has a very short shelf life. Houston’s Restaurant on Rush Street in Chicago has great baby back ribs which are definitely worth the wait.
