Wisconsin has always been known for brats & cheese. Racine, WI owns the title to "Kringle" a Danish pastry. Butterburgers originated at Solly’s Grille in Milwaukee and became popular at Culver’s (a Wisconsin burger chain). Custard’s a Wisconsin thing too, as is the Friday night fish fry and Door County fish boil. Being a native Chicago boy, I must not forget deep dish Chicago pizza, Italian beef sandwiches, and the finest of hot dogs, washed down with a can of "pop."
