If you are ever in the Youngstown/Warren area in Ohio, check out the following restaurants:
Buena Vista Cafe for Uncle Nick’s Greek Fried Chicken. I don’t know what’s in the recipe but the chicken is incredible and the aroma is out of this world. In fact, the motto at Buena Vista is "If the Colonel had our recipe, he would be a General."
Abruzzi’s Cafe 422 for the best eggplant parmigiana in the world. Try it Bob’s way (Bob is the owner), which is eggplant parm served with a side dish of homemade angel hair in marinara sauce and a salad. The bread and pies are also homemade. Also try their fried greens and hot peppers in oil as appetizers.
Mocha House Restaurant for their specialty coffee drinks and desserts. Also, their spinach salad with their homemade hot bacon dressing is addictive.
Original Hot Dog Shop. Get a hot dog with onions and chili and a side order of fries.
I get to Warren every once in a while. I’ll check out your recommendations.
