Your right Pete………. the Ale that I liked was the old Ballantine’s Ale brewed by the original Peter Ballantines & Sons of Newark, NJ. I believe the Ballantine’s India Pale Ale was brewed much later by Falstaff Brewing Corp when they acquired the Ballantine label.
It’s kind of fun researching (Googleing) all this Beer stuff…. Brings back a lot of memories when we were young beer drinking studs thinking we knew it all about booze and broads……..
It is wonderful to see the small Micro and not so small Micro Breweries making a huge come back and giving the big boys a run for their money…………http://www.beertown.org/events/gabf/04winners.htm
