Hey, I live in Wilkes-Barre. Stegmaier 1857 American Lager is one good beer! The Lion Brewery also makes the Pocono Lagers and Ales.

A couple regionals I remember… "Yoohoo! Mabel! Black Label! Carling Black Label beer!" And, "Have a Duke, have a Duke, have a Duke!" Duquesne Beer, the prince of pilsners from Pittsburgh. Duke used to have a lighted clock on Mount Washington, flashing I think the time (as a clock face), the temp, and then the words, "Duquesne" and "DUKE". I remember Carling as a decent enough crisp tasting beer, and Duke as less so. This was right around the time I came of age, the early ’70s, so my memory is vague. I think Duke was gone by 1974.
