First of all, Wilmington’s Azalea Festival will be the first weekend in April, and if you’re in the RDU area try to get down for a visit! This is our hometown, and we have some great Roadfood spots, tho most of them are pretty out of the way. Here on Wrightsville Beach (a suburb, really) make sure you have lunch or dinner at the Middle of the Island, or breakfast at the Causeway Cafe. In Wilmington itselt, there’s a great meat and three place called Salt Works II.

If you need a "guided tour", let me know when you’ll be here and we’d love to show you and hubby our town, including eateries!
