I ve been browsing the net a bit out of curiosity. Correct me if I m wrong, but it looks like both a standing rib roast and the ribeye roast are considered prime rib, as long as the meat is of prime quality. At home I prefer the ribeye roast, I will see what the butcher has up his sleeve and see if I can t make myself a treat this weekend.
