A few more comments since this post started.

Al, I must have missed those posts you deleted as I haven’t seen anything nasty, (and there were only a few posts when I last looked) but good for you. There has been too much nastyness on Roadfood lately and this post as it stands now is a good return to the days of offering different opinions instead of attacking them.

As for youth no liking prime rib, my 17 YO son loves meat, and will often choose a nice prime rib over a steak.

Personally, I prefer to get my rib with the bone, and if it comes without one, may ask the waiter to bring me one from the kitchen, or insist that what was served to me be returned and a proper rib served. I don’t like to knaw on the bone myself, but my dog sure does, and if I’m paying for it (after all, the dish is called Prime RIB), he is certainly going to get his treat.[;)]
