When I cook dogs at the house, I usually buy Dietz & Watson’ New York Deli hot dogs. I then cook the dogs over hickory chips on my Jenn Aire gas grill. I have a setup where I can smoke on the gas grill and control both the smoke, heat, and flare up problems. They come off with a little snap to them and are to die for.
