Lots of chopped onion
Garlic salt
zesty garlic dill pickle slices, chopped
freshly ground black pepper
Just enough mayo to bind it
A bit of chopped hard-boiled egg.

Oh yeah, and a lot of potatoes, boiled and cut up.

Top with a several slices of hard-boiled egg and sprinkle with a little paprika.

And whatever you do, don’t add any of that nasty-tasting stuff that any and all store-bought potato salads have in them. I don’t know what it is, but they all have that same taste, and if I ever find out what it is it will be banned from my kitchen.
