There is an interesting New Orleans-style place in the tiny, sweet town of Monrovia just a little west of you Sorry I can’t think of the name right now (CRS) but the owners are NewOrleans natives and the food was really good both times I was there. I hear tell they opened another in Mooresville.
Don’t forget Shapiros Deli on south side of Indy.
Also Berringer’s on South side of Indy–the best pork tenderloin sandwich in the area.
