I am surprised that you say this. Slices to-go are a New York institution. There are times that you need a snack and it sure fills the need. A hot slice for breakfast? Sure.
There are many things that I do while in the city. One of them is to stop at every pizza joint and look inside their front window at the pies that are displayed. There are places that are well known for their slices.
So, you’re saying that in those New York places where they sell slices what they do is partially bake a pie with just sauce and a little cheese, and then they put it under lights, when a customer wants to buy a slice they’ll take it and add toppings and finish baking it in the oven?
