Millions of people have also named a star after someone and had it registered in book form. It doesn’t take much "sophistication" to know they are idiots if they believe that the star is exclusively named after them because the company registered said book at the US Copyright Office.

This analogy makes no sense. I think you’re showing you’re elitism by suggesting that someone with different tastes than you are somehow less sophisticated.

But, if people wish to live their lives not knowing the difference between good pizza and crappy pizza, then fine. They can do that. It doesn’t mean the rest of us won’t think of them as ignorant as far as pizza goes.

There you go again telling us that if we like something as horrid as PH, that we’re just ignorant hicks who can’t think for ourselves.

If I went to NC and said that Famous Dave’s is really good BBQ, I’d be the ignoramous. So, while, yes, there is a FF Forum to talk about FF – one is kiddding themself if they think they can go to a foodie type website and tell people how great Pizza Hut pasta tastes and not get comments to the contrary. The fact that there’s a FF Forum on this site does not mean that this forum is a safe haven for FF lovers to unite and talk about the high quality of FF.

If you truly like Famous Dave’s better than the BBQ in NC, why would you be an ignoramous? There are lots of people who do not like NC BBQ.

If you’ve not tried the pasta, why do you feel the need to comment on it?

So, you needn’t scratch your head any longer as to why people bash Pizza Hut. It sucks. I don’t care if millions buy it. Quantity does not make quality.

I wasn’t scratching my head because people bash PH (or any other FF). I was scratching my head as to why someone needs to use a thread that asks a question about a specific product to bash the restaurant repeatedly.

I’m sorry the two mom and pop italian places in your town are not good. But going to Pizza Hut because the other options aren’t any better (or are worse) isn’t a good enough reason to patron the place IMO. But if you enjoy it, so be it. I don’t care how anyone lives their life.

If you don’t care, why hijack a post to tell us how ignorant we are?

I said one might be "ignorant as far as pizza goes." I didn’t call anyone an ignorant hick. But if you feel the shoe fits, then wear it. I didn’t hijack a thread – like the way you have, to tell me how "elitist" I am.
