John, I saw this brand for the first time last Saturday in a new store in Georgetown, TX (just north of me). I didn’t buy a jar, but I certainly will now.
My grandmother (father’s side) used to make what she called "salt pickles", which had no vinegar. They were, and are, the best pickles I’ve ever eaten, and I’ve never been able to find any like them.
