How did those shoulder muscles feel the next day? (I never enjoyed the first couple of weeks of curling season.)

Not having any problem in terms of pain, which is a little surprising to me given that I tipped over a couple times onto my hip while releasing the stone (balance has never been my strong point). I almost went out a hero. I had the last turn with the stone for my team and it curled from way over to the right, around the opposing team’s stone, and looked like it was headed for glory, but it went just a tad too far.

Anyway, I’ll have much more appreciation for how difficult the sport is the next time the Olympics come around.
