you COULD take the local subway, the "market st. blue line", then change for the "broad st. line"…..and get off in Passyunk Ave, where Pats and Genos are located.
HOWEVER, since the subway is a couple of bucks a person anyway, it’s best to just take a cab. And a lot less of a hassle. Could’nt see it costing more than $10 or so, as the 30th st Amtrak Station is still close enough to everything by cab…
(but NOT really walkable)
Also, another MUST SEE is the Reading Terminal Market, 11th and Arch… also easily accessible by cab. It’s a Roadfooders heaven!!
Have you been there yet?!??! It’s like 100 years old , with tons of indoor food merchants. I particularly like the Amish merchants, (espescially the pretzel place), but they are only there about 3 or 4 days a week. Also "Franks a lot" has real good hot dogs! They use Best brand hot dogs out of Newark, NJ
