I hope you like it. Don’t over-process the potatoes & onions, you’ll want a little texture. I don’t fill the processor bowl much over 1/3 each time; they’re good when it’s almost like a chopped cole slaw size, not pureed.
Add the matzo meal 1/2 cup at a time; ya gotta know when to stop. Like I said, I don’t measure much, I prefer my grandmother’s method of "eye-balling" the ingredients. BTW, the yiddish word for this is "schitterein", ot thereabouts.
To tell the truth, I prefer it with flour rather than matzo meal; but ya gotta do what ya gotta do.
