QUIK and BOSCO! Quik was the main ingredient in the home-made hot fudge sauce that was on my ‘chore list’ to make each week. My parents loved it on their ice cream that was a Sunday treat in our home for years. I would melt some butter, add QUIK and a little water and heat it up. Mother had a ‘gravy boat’ set aside for the sauce when I finished my ‘cooking’. Any leftovers after treat-topping would be spooned onto graham crackers and refrigerated for school lunchbox snacks.
BOSCO was ever-present also, but I never had the craving for it that I developed for that buttery fudge sauce that was QUIK !
