I think the best thing to come out of this proposal is the awareness of trans fats. It makes more sense to keep the government out of the picture but to ask for a voluntary removal of trans fats-some restaurants will make the change if given more choices-others will follow eventually…some never will.
Trans fat free oils will most likely make the food taste better and extend the lives of the customers. It is not difficult to switch to trans fat free oils.
