Nuts! Yum yum! I eat them virtually every day, and I swear doing so keeps me healthy. When I was a kid, I’d eat those red-dyed pistachios until my hands were completely covered in red dye. Now I buy the big bags of them at Costco or BJs…they are so much more affordable than they used to be. But I always commented that I remember them tasting a little different when I was young. Recently, I bought the Turkish pistachios at Trader Joes, and they tasted like I remember pistachios tasting in my youth. So maybe it’s the difference between California pistachios and Turkish ones??!!

The only nuts I don’t really like are cashews. Here’s my list of favs (in descending order)
**pistachios
**smoked almonds (not particularly good for you, but I love ’em!)
**Plantars dry roasted peanuts — that "breading" is so good!
**pecans
**regular salted almonds
**macademia nuts
**all the others (walnuts, brazil, etc)
