Cashews are definitely the favorite, though it’s hard to beat a big handful of honey-roasted peanuts.
Least favorite is tougher. I like almost all nuts at least a bit. I’ve never really been that partial to pistachios, although I have tried the chile coated pistachios NYNM mentioned and they were pretty good. Almonds, maybe. I like the flavor in other things, like almond flavored pastries or liqueur, but not so much the straight nuts. Similar with hazelnuts– love things like Nutella or Frangelico, but I tend to pass over the actual nuts if presented in a bowl.
