Mama Dip’s . . . droool.
I’m also fond of the Char-Grill in downtown Raleigh (the ordering system with the slips and the tiny pencils is not to be missed), Harrison’s in Cary and the Bass Lake Draft House in Holly Springs (those are both beer joints with extensive menus, particularly at the Bass Lake).
Oh, the restaurant at the NC Farmer’s Market. Maybe even better than Mama Dip’s and less of a ride. Only open for breakfast & lunch though.
