Nick Tahou’s is a grundgy joint in a grundgy neighborhood, in a grundgy city, and yes, I’ve been there and even went back for a second meal. I had a pretty good hot dog both times and I observed numerous fellow patrons eating and obviously enjoying the garbage plate. If you ever find yourself in Rochester, you must go to NickTahous, you are missing a unique experience if you pass up an opportunity. You dont have to eat the garbage plate, if, like me, you can enjoy the vicarious experience of others putting it away.
