About a block past Fornos, on Ferry Street, are Iberia and Iberia Peninsula. I find Iberia Peninsula to be good, and in fact, my most recent visit impressed me more than my last two visits to Casa Vasca did.

Another one to consider is Seabra’s (this one does have an apostrophe in the name!) on McCarter highway, in the building that used to house Don’s 21 Diner. Seabra’s and both of the Iberias have the advantage of free parking, in addition to good food. And, as you may know, parking is a very scarce commodity in that area of Newark.

Tony De Caneca (sp?) is one that I am not familiar with.

Iberia is awesome. One of my all-time favorite restaurants.
