Hi John…no I’ve never been to Rosco’s, but I love Harry’s in Colchester. I’ve also been to Doogie’s in Newington…they were all right…My boyfriend swears by Glenwood in Hamden, CT as well, but I’m originally from Mass and the best place to get dogs there by far is George’s Coney Island Hot Dogs.

I’ve been to about a dozen places in Connecticut. All were very good, but my 2 favorites were Rosco’s and the Glenwood Drive In. Rosco’s serves a delicious Thumanns dog that is prepared on a griddle. The Glenwood uses a tasty long Hummel’s dog that is charcoal grilled. Definitely check out these 2 places.
