Brad, the raw onions remain crispy, at least in mine and it’s a great texture.
I’ve also been thinking about the raw jalapeno. We’re not supposed to flavor oils with raw herbs… but what about chilies?
So good without the jalapeno I might not add it. But, I bet it adds a bit of heat to the mixture.
I made 2 jars the last time and my sister-in-law took one. She was eating it out of the bowl with a fork!
