You are right about the Bakery! Their Muffins are outstanding also. A dozen large muffins for $5 is a good price. The assorted..Blueberry, Apple Carmel, & Banana Nut are our favorites. We freeze them in individual bags and remove them one at a time. They stay in good condition for quite a while. Back in SoCal some of my High School Kids would buy a dozen and bring them in the next day to sell in the morning classes for a Buck apiece. (Economics Class remember ???hehehe)
The meats are good quality, but don’t look for great bargain prices there. Lots and Lots of frozen convenience foods, good dairy choices, with real butter at less than $2 a pound. Deli and related non-frozen foods have some great choices also.
I don’t bother looking at the clothing, although I used to get stuff for my kids there. XL is as big as they go and that won’t help me any. We have purchased some kitchen-ware and a new coffee maker there, but those are rare purchases. In my 35 mm camera days the film and photo processing were a big item on my list. Not so anymore.
We go mainly for food-related items, Books that are birthday gifts for grandkids…with 23 grandkids we stock up on books for various ages!
